I was finally able to break my hoarding instinct and parted with my AE after 144,403 km. There just wasn’t enough room in my closet that is masquerading as a garage for two motorcycles along with all the other parts and bits I have managed to collect over the years.
Ray keeps threatening to do an intervention but zi know if I was ever able to do a proper cleaning zi could probably build three more motorcycles.
If Wayne would ever stop scheduling EOM against the Corduroy Enduro I would able to make an appearance if we are able to negotiate the proper appearance fees.
I am hoping to finally run the Trans Labrador Highway this summer taking my Turnip Rally Pro on the short ferry over to Newfoundland and then visit family in St. John’s.
Look for me on the gravel roads.
My work here is done.

Re: My work here is done.
How much have you ridden the FJR in the last half dozen years?
You waited too long to run the TransLab. The only gravel now is 170 km (out of 570) on QC 389 between Manic Cinq and Labrador City. The remaining 1125 km from Lab City to Blanc Sablon is all paved, although there are lots of gravel bits off the main road. (Esker Rd, Orma Lake, Charlottetown, Saint Lewis, Cartwright etc). I did the TLH a couple of years ago and will probably do it again this year after a little time in Northern Quebec - not on the FJR.
