I'll be headed north in a couple of weeks but in the eastern part of the country. Quebec and Labrador. Fires aren't a problem there (yet), but long range forecast for June looks moderately warm and quite dry.

Thanks for posting this - I'm leaving this month to head up that way, with plans to be west of Edmonton by 6/27 on my way up to Fairbanks. I'll join that FB group from @Pterodactyl's pic for sure but are there any other resources for real-time info you guys are aware of?

We've decided to head north on the Cassiar HWY. I enjoy that ride anyway, there is much less traffic and development. Haven't been to Hyder, AK for several years and I'm looking forward to see how it has changed.

Hyder...as of last year, it hasn't changed for the better since I first visited in 2011.
