Rear fender flap - just curious
Does anyone know why Yamaha did not include the "Flap" on the front part of the rear fender in years 2013, 2014, 2015, It was included on Gen II and laters years of Gen III. Item #22 in this 2016 schematic. I just discovered this when comparing my 2009 and 2013. Curious

Re: Rear fender flap - just curious
It was dropped on the A model 2013-up presumably as a cost saving measure.... it was retained on the ES and I think reinstated on the 2016A-up.
Just buy one and it takes 5 minutes to install....... keeps crap off the rear shock. Some made their own from plastic or rubber, just zip tie it on using the holes already there.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.
