So this is what I started the morning out with. First order of business is to trim the unnecessary T connection off.


The hole will be oriented inward toward the bike. With the cooler jug in place, it's not seen.

A brief search around the shed and I find this piece of 16 gauge cee purlin left over from a previous project. Just the ticket.

A few minutes of drilling, and I have some mounting holes. I added the slot to allow for the foot peg housing to recess up into the plate when the rubber insert is removed. I didn't show it here, but I added a couple more holes to secure the flower pot to the plate


I added some stainless furniture leg sliders to minimize the cooler jug's loose fit.

I added a 1/4" drain hole near the bottom and finished it off with some satin black automotive paint.

Close enough for this ole Texican Redneck.
