FNG from Savannah GA area

I just bought an '05 the first of June. Already put 3k miles on her and loving the bike. I am a member of the Concours Owners Group and have owned an '86, 2000, 2001 and a 2009 Concours. I hate to say it, but I like the FJR better. I have signed up for EOM in Spetember and look forward to meeting fellow FJRers

I have a friend with a newer Connie. Its a nice bike, but he has had to modify it like a Harley stacks on chrome.

My wish list for my FJR is this:

Better shock and springs.
Better seat.

That's about all it will take to perfect it. A cruise control is in planning, but I imagine I'll buy a new one before I have time to install it. Throttle lock works for now.

Also, because I too have an 05, it might be worth it to call and see if your bike is subject to the rear frame recall for the top box. I was surprised to find mine is. Now I am waiting for the parts and an appointment to get it installed.
