Every place has its pluses and minuses. There is no perfect situation.
It has been proven that visitors to the hppants home and the Redfish home eat well. It is now documented fact. Due to the fact that I have had forum celebrities stay in our guest room, which is now officially called The Tyler Room, our rates have gone up significantly. I am able to charge 5 times what I charged before.
I don't mind the heat and I don't mind the humidity. What pisses me off is that it is November 12th and I will be cutting my grass again today.
Which means that I will have to wash Mrs. Redfish's car afterwards. And knock the dust off the FJR. And I will have to run the weed eater. At least The Boy will be doing most of the lawnmower work.

My grass mowing is over until spring. Yesterday I rode the bike to get Guiness after most of my chainsaw work was done. Ordered a new n104 Absolute today. Ordered parts for the old one and passed it on to my brother, to get him to move from half and 3/4 helmets.

Put a new Yellow Jacket sticker on the BIKE, not the hardcase. Gotta show my allegiance even when the bags are off.

Well, I'd have to stop at the Redfish mansion, but I'm askeered of the clutches of that big orangutan or whatever it is he keeps telling us about.. well maybe I could just do a drive by and wave...... I'll check with CAV to get some tips before I decide to go..... 'preciate the offer Pants!
The food/drink and fun that I had there is one of my fondest memories of all time. In fact, I put a new favorite food in my top 5 all time. Charbroiled oysters went from not even being on the list to #4. To crack my top 5, said food item needs to be a last meal of a lifetime worthy. Currently the list is
1 Tortellini Alfredo-Touch of Italy New Symrna Beach
2 Filet Mignon-Smith & Wollensky - Chicago
3 Italian Special Pizza - Flippos Pizza -Monticello Illinois
4 Charbroiled Oysters - Shucks Abbeville Louisiana
5 Big Red Chicken Sandwich - The Ale House Jacksonville Florida
Knocked out of the top 5 as a result of #4 entry
Crab Legs - The Charlie Horse Daytona Beach

I love the Charlie Horse! (It's in Ormond Beach, BTW, just up the road from Daytona. JSNS) Their crab legs are fan-f'n-tastic!
Useless trivia: Sooze and I got engaged over crab legs at the Charlie Horse. It was so romantic.

Why worry about when the bags are off? Are there lots of folks around when you are washing it?

No...but he is getting a little up in years and needs a visual reminder of which insect to root for.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! He said "wash the bike!"
The saddlebags make me feel like I'm driving a station wagon. When they're off, I feel like I'm driving an R1 on steroids. Still got to show the colors; urban street cred, you know.
Had the bags off the other day gassing up at the BP on North Avenue, and a well-meaning sportbiker said .... I'm sure this transcription isn't verbatim .... "We be banging here and at the Pilot on Bouldercrest. Rippin it 'tween 'em. Y'all come on down." Was thoroughly vindicated in my quest for inclusion.

I neither remove my side bags, nor wash my bike. Still got some Alabama mud on my kickstand.

Yep. I warshed it just before we left for CFR 2013 and, well, haven't warshed 'er since.

You must be a fair weather rider now Andy if you haven't ridden in rain in 4 years. I remember the days when you and yer bride would ride to Arkansas just so you could get rained on solid for three days and three nights.

I tried that with Line in the Adirondacks after riding through a frog-choker for 8 hrs and coming up skunked on accommodations. Ya, weird, she doesn't want to sit on the back of the bike for more than a couple of hours at a stretch now. I wanted to ride the bike for our 10 day east coast trip this past summer. But using her riding schedule, it would've taken 21.5 decades to finish the trip.
Funny how that works >;)
