Those old 2.6L Mitsubishi engines Chrysler used to use in the Caravan/Voyager/Town and Country were really "awesome".

The 3.0L was only slightly less awesome.

Maybe Mitsubishi makes "awesome" stuff like H-D!

I did get lots of help in the tire change. Mostly Julie, Jason, Craig, and someone else did all the hard work. It was really easy seeing that we had 8 hands and they had the knowledge to do it. Hud did hold some things while setting it up.

I was merely a participant. But that screw would have pissed me off royally had it got into the inside!! Disaster averted for sure.

No biggie. I did northern California, HWY 36, 89, Gold Country, and the Loneliest Hwy US 50 at FJR nominal on a double plugged tire (after the first plug spit out in a turn). Plugs werk!

Not quite sir, I do believe I gave Mr. Tough Football Coach the job of fighting against me and the demount bar with all of the leverage advantage on my side, the hard work was definitely on your end.

The 51 F temps this morning were brutal! I had to turn the grip heaters to medium and close my visor all the way!

The steady 72F as I made my way from my bed to my desk three feet away was really difficult to deal with this morning.

If that's all I gotta do to change a tire, I will take that anytime. I will ride to Texas next time. The only way it is easier is when I hand the tire and rim to BlackandWhite and he does it on his machine.

I road it and took this photo of Mt Rainier near Elbe Washington.

Put 378 miles on it, while riding with Richouse and his friend Kurt. Was down in the 40s a lot of the time, but there was plenty above 50° to make it fun. Except for being a smidge cold, it was an awesome day to be on the bike!

Rode past12000 miles. 1year old this week.

Passed the 12k mark. Happy 1st birthday my 16a

On October 31 I rode the FJR just over 200 miles, took the photo of Mt. Rainier above and had a great time. Today I looked at my FJR while it has been snowing most of the day. Nothing is sticking yet. Bummer.

Rode it to work in the rain...but the ride home was dry

I just keep riding mine to work and back. 70ish mornings, 84ish evenings. That 8.5 mile ride is often the high point of my day.

Put a relay on the heated Corbin to make it switch off with the key.

No more dead batteries at work because I forgot.

When I put the vstream 20309 on, it wobbled markedly, almost violently. Being narrow down low and wide at the top promotes a shoulder shake, left and right. It’s still on many miles (and a 1000 mile day) later. Not a bad shield. I think Cee bailey’s design is better. But since they’re not an option, the 20309 isn’t bad. I think the next smaller size would have probably been better, and perhaps wobbled less.

We had one of the 3.0's v-6's in a 94 Duster with manual. That combination was just about right. Sold it after 4 1/2 years with 98K on the clock still running very good. Just about the right power for that car.
