Well, you did get some of them.
Even a clock can be right twice a day...my dear old dad used to say.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to ride this road, and report back to us.
Skyuka Mountain Road, near Columbus, NC, October 18 - This road is one of the most technically difficult roads I have ever experienced in the US and Europe. This is "expert level only" stuff and there is just no room for error. Steeper than it looks here, a moments hesitation or misjudgment in a corner can land you in a world of hurt. Yes, it's on the maps but with a strong warning. Like this page. If it's a good road it goes on the maps. Some of them are good to the extreme. Think hard before you decide to give this one a go, it's a real test of ability. Map #5

If you have the facebooks:
Bunge - About a 55 mile route for me

I'll take some pics when I do it.

Make sure you take pics one-handed while riding the switchbacks.

Okay, if you want to cheat, that's fine...just take off the traction control.
That's for pussies.

Saturday, October 28, posted on behalf of
Cav47: Pulled a screw out of the same tire I had mounted four hours earlier.
The screw was only embedded in a tread block; it did not pierce the carcass. Not how many "helpers" he had.

Mounting the tire was a team effort. Can't believe he'd run out and pick up a screw after we did all that work. Kinda ungrateful if you ask me.
Today I rode the FJR to work, the day after riding home from SFO.

I think I'll be putting the bike down for the winter this weekend. The weather went from 70F 2 weeks ago to high 30's overnight, along with a shit ton of rain. Which is pretty much normal for around these parts this time of year.
Oil/Filter has been changed, time to dump some Seafoam in the tank, take it for a ride to get it down to the injectors, the park it, and pull the battery.
f@$k.

I understand the sentiments entirely. I could pull a beemerdons and make a joke...but that hurts too much. See you in May.

Rode it to work...35 degrees for my ride in this morning. I love my Warm & Safe heated jacket liner.

Got home from SFO on Sunday. Unloaded the bike that night (didn't really unpack though) so I could ride to work on Monday. Was a beautiful day for a ride.

This is the prized spot for motorcycles here. Its right next to the gate and the closest to the plat 2 work area.
On fair weather days, you have to be there early and wait for the guy on third to come out and move so you can play duck duck goose to get the spot.
So, there were no H-D nozzles on the premises, otherwise they would be in that spot. I did see a Ford Raptor with a large H-D decal in the rear window though.
Loud pipes save lives...if it's not too cold...or raining...or looks like it might rain...
