No. Just use the Ray technique and stand on your head when installing them. Should be good.

$207 plus 50 to put it on. Price of doing business on the road.
Revzilla has that tire for 227. So considering you were on the road the place treated you good.

You might look a little harder for a proper spokesperson. One of those is a slow pussy when it comes to riding mountain curves, and the other was on a freaking car tire!

Fork job went superbly.... was sure to heat up the lower fork tube at the upper bushing/seal area nice and hot, then slide-hammered the guts out... one took two whacks, the other came out right away. Blew me away almost, it was that good. All back together, happy friend can go on that ride he had planned for tomorrow morning.

Went for a ride the other day. I was sitting at a picnic table, drinking some water and enjoying a deli sandwich, thinking to myself, "This FJR has been one hell of a ride..."

Image

Wait, where did it go? Oh, there it is...

Image

Q-tip pulled in on the other side of the bike (just as close), realized that a - she was in a handicap space, and b - she was so close to my bike she couldn't open her door. So she angrily backed out and pulled in on the other side of the bike. She got out, stared at the biker-trash sitting at the picnic table (me) and walked into the gas station.

I walked over to see how close she was; then quickly jimmied the bike back and forth to get it backed away from her chariot and parked it 3 spots away.

She gave me a look and a 'shheesh' as she get in and left.

Geez, did you rub your butt all over her car as you made your way in to your bike?

Washed it. I think that makes at least twice in the last 365 days, so that's kind of a record. There were a LOT of bugs on it though, so I had to scrub them all off and while I was at it I figured I'd wipe down the rest of it. All clean and shiny now. Needs some maintenance done so I'll be working on that soon.

Clear disregard for social distancing...... jeez! Yeah, I hope you left skid marks on her door.

This is why you should wear Motoport Kevlar. Rub you ass or arm on the paint. No amount of waxing will get the scuff off.

Take some photos of her license plate and parking job, just in case. Make sure she see's you doing it. I bet she won't like that.

Two guys drove up while I was getting something out of my side bag. The passenger asked me to please move. I was in the way and he couldn't get out of the truck.

When I got my first motorcycle I was managing at a movie theater and parked in one of the spots right out in front of the box office. I and my staff learned really quickly how retarded people become when trying to park next to a motorcycle.

Our case was an older lady. Probably someone's gram. Not worth the c oil confrontation.

If it were 2 douchsebags in a pickup, i would have taken my sweet time in that saddlebag...

Installed a N20308 VStream® Sport/Tour windshield on my FJR today. Hope to take it for a test ride on Thursday. ~G has one on his bike and I tried it out with my seat - it worked great. I expect the same on my FJR.
