Josh has been telling me that there aren't any good riding roads in Illinois. Me thinks he may be holding out!!

Nice video - enjoyed the music too!

What in the world would take you there? The river roads are decent, but that seems like a weird destination.

We were bored and needed a place to go. My buddy said he wanted pizza in Rome, Italy. There was a Rome, IL so we went. There was no pizza in Rome, IL.

There is Pizza in Paris, IL. It is decent for down south. If any of you have heard of the book "The Pizza Connection" And subsequent FBI investigations, the Joe's Pizza here was the epicenter of that situation. The owner spent a long stint in Federal Prison.

Next time you go for a Ride Bao, be a guy and give me a chance to tag along will ya???

That's why I referenced that. Cav, they were definitely blowing you off. Cross them off your friends list...you've got plenty.

Funny you guys mention Paris. It's our next got nothing to do ride destination. Will let you know, Josh, when we decide to go. I figured coach/assistant principal C would be too busy and cool for the rest of us.

Paris is 30 min South. We can go eat at Moonshine again if you want! Or 36 Saloon.

No Worries Wheatie! I will just tell Louanne to shove you down the stairs.

How is it that I'm loving so many of Wheatie's posts lately? He's on a roll.

FWIW, there is no pizza in Italy Texas either.

This is what I imagine coach C is too busy doing to go riding. Moonlighting as an fjr model...

PS. I know it's not him. But there is a resemblance no?

A MUCH better looking version. Your model has a hint of dumb. Granted, its hard to attain that dumb as f@$k "look" , but you'll need to get that to nail Cav.

Excellent attempt though, Bao.

I represent that statement. (At least nothing expensive, so far.)
...Waiting for warmer weather to do my first valve check on the new(er) FJR as well as taking the opportunity to massively screw up some electricals while rewiring a bunch of shit....

Yesterday, I put in a new right side headlight, and washed all the crap off Rene. Going to my granddaughter's tennis match last week, I ended up behind a semi on Hwy 53 (lots of curves and elevation changes) that was spewing some kind of liquid on road continuously for 20 miles. I stayed back as far as I could, but, the bike was covered with this crap. Today road the North Georgia mountains, headed up to Bell Mountain, had a great lunch at Rib Country in Hiawassee, and schlepped up to Harrah's Casino in Murphy. We all won, but my buddy hit a $1,000 jackpot literally as we were almost out the door! Lucky bastardo! In all, a great day, and a great ride, with great UPS friends. It was my FJR, a BMW K 1600, and a Slingshot. Retirement really sucks!!ImageImageImageImage
