Parked it back in its little bedroom at home. It has 5821 more miles on its odometer than it had when I left 2 weeks ago.
Well, my day was substantially less exciting. I did swap out a PCV and put in a PCIII. I also finally opened my box from RockyMountainMC full of fasteners I'd ordered and set about replacing those that had gone missing and were either still missing or were incorrect. Found that some that were previously silver are now black from Yamaha.
Spent the whole day in the garage but that's all the FJR had done.

Rode it today for the first time in over a week. Our usual commute to work. She ran great and felt good.
My brand-new wife has an overnight trip to Dallas today (TX, not GA) so the Big Grey Girl might get a few more miles of use this evening. Sunset's not until 8:48 pm.

Rode the filthy thing to work. It has a couple thousand miles of dead bugs on its snout and needs washing badly. But it's raining outside as I type this so it may get washed naturally on the ride home.

Never run out of real estate, traction and ideas all at the same time.
Left it in the garage and stupidly rode the gixxer to work. 100 mile round trip commute, thinking of the comfy seating position every second of the ride that I wasn't yanking on the throttle.
When I left I thought the gixxer was a toy that I was about to fall off of. Forgot how those things feel. Then when I got home I'd come to terms with the gixxer and hopped on the FJR sitting in the garage. Holy moly that bike is huge. That said, the next day I have to go into the office I'm taking the Feej.
