Got a PR4GT take off I was keeping for just an occasion mounted on my front wheel.

Picked up a new Shoei RF-SR helmet and smoke shield. This was long overdue, as my old Quest with 75K+ miles on it was getting well past long in the tooth. I tried 6-8 lids and the RF-SR fits like a glove. Comes with a pinlock shield insert, which I understand is pretty cool. We'll see.

My parts for the relay arm arrived yesterday. Props to Partshark - that guy does a good job. I'll get started on that tomorrow.

Got to move my daughter the last weekend of September. As soon as that is done, I'm out of here. Heading north. Or West. Possibly East. I dunno - don't really care. I just need a ride, man.

Rode mine to work this morning. Letting the coworker's 2006 sit for a little so I can squeeze the last few miles out of mu tires before changing them for EOM and beyond.

Got the bearings installed on the relay arm. Got the bearings pulled out of the swingarm. Had to shut it down and go to the hardware store to get a bigger threaded rod to drive in the swingarm bearings.

Back to it tomorrow.

DId you know you can mount a fresh rear tire, on your lunch hour, while the bike is strapped on a trailer?!

Okay, it took more than an hour, but not by much!

After dealing with a hurricane last week I get to ride today. Getting new tires on the FJR. Didn't want to go to Arkansas with a used up front tire and a rear tire with about 20% left.

The dealer I am using now is good. Price match tires and free installation.

Nice ride over here. Low 70s going to be hot hot hot today later.

I wish ours would price match tires and free installation. I'd get rid of my tire changer if there were someone like that locally.

Great deal. Major bonus on the installation, too. I don't even mind paying a bit of a premium to support a local guy but I won't bend over for the privilege of buying from him.

They are hard bargainers on a new bike, but very competitive service department. Also very competent on all the jobs they have done for me so far.

They will price match any normal American internet site. No sales prices, no Amazon and no eBay or forgein price match.
That is more than fair.
The only thing added to the ticket was state fees and taxes. No shop fees, misc parts fees or those tricks. They did charge me for the new valve stems I requested.

It's Ride Now Ocala. They are part of a network of dealers. They have all the Jap bikes plus KTM in the one building and Indian next door. They have a Harley dealership down the street.

Not local as in a Mom and Pop place. I think it's af very large dealer network. Not sure of the ownership. However, the employees are local.

Changed the oil/filter/FD fluid. Saw the clutch juice was smoky. Spent an hour trying to find the unopened envelope with the surgical tubing I ordered for my mityvac. Never found it.

Spent the day with Fontanaman and jorstin on some straight and boring Oregon roads after Reuben Run. This morning, removed Fontanaman's rear rim and watched Ray mount up a new rear PR4...I'll let Fontanaman tell the rest of the story!

I underestimated the life left in my rear tire. Thanks to --G, JP and Ray got a rear tire on very late Saturday with zero minutes to spare. Sunday we stopped by Ray's for a hour to install the new tire. Thanks to all that helped get me home. Ruben run was fantastic as usual and the prime rib was spectacular.
