I always keep my bike covered since I park outside in the street, especially when I ride to work, even at home (no garage) so I've had so many different ones over the years. Some are lighter some heavier. Some last longer than others hard to remember which is which especially by the time they're warn out. Currently using I believe a Dowco Guardian. Seems pretty heavy duty. Not sure how long it will last but seems like it will go for a good while. YMMV.

I had the Nelson Rigg half cover. Worked well. Then I figured out the the Nelson Rigg full cover packs as small and covers everything.

Yep, that’s a Geza. Love it, but kinda spendy. Fortunately I got mine used from a member here several years ago. Not exactly light either, but it fits like a glove and doesn’t flap around when it gets windy.

I've had a Dowco Guardian for 13 years. I used it on my Vulcan, and, now I use it for the FJR. I don't use it very often, however - only on trips and through the winter (in the garage). I think you'll be happy with the Dowco.

Geza's are kinda cool, nice stretchy custom fitting...... however, I decided I couldn't afford one. I did use this cover from Laminar Lip on the FJR for a few years, still have it, and it fits the Versys nicely.... if I can find a better way to secure it under the rear of the seat on this bike.... it is the stretchy Geza material. But it's like a bikini, it doesn't cover the whole bike. Note, on sale for $39!!
