CollingsBob you can try my Russell at CFR but I will need your credit card, passport and $500. Yes the Russell's are that good. I have been using them since 1984 or so.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Wifey wanted a short scenic ride, so we rode over to Whitewater Falls. She liked it. Tip of the cap to PPants.
3 hours door to door with 40 minutes spent at the waterfall. Louanne was impressed. Perfect ride for her. She now wants to go waterfall chasing. There might be some in Western North Carolina.
The handling was really bad two up. That rear shock is done for two up work. I will limp along the rest of the year on it before getting aftermarket suspension. 36K miles.
Edit: Now sitting on our back porch, sipping a Trifecta IPA while hearing one of my favorite birds, the mockingbird, mock away. Keep mocking that HMFIC....yeah, that's it.

Don't discount the falls in north Georgia. I've found plenty worth checking out. And a few more on the list that I've not seen yet.
Did ya'll walk down to the actual fall on the trail? Next time I'm doing that but I was curious about the grade.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Took a little ride (about 520 miles round trip) to Twin City, GA to have BBQ with a buddy from Jacksonville. Picked up some TOH stuff on the way down/back. One of the coolest categories in the TOH this year is the war dog category. These memorials are so cool. Especially if you are a dog lover

Wanted to check out my leg which has been giving me trouble for a month. Still kinda hurts, but with the temp in the 90s yesterday, I guess it wasn't too bad.

Nah, not this time..she just wanted a taste and was happy with what she saw...plus she wanted to get back for lunch, then soak/swim in the junior olympic size pool our HOA has. Perfect. Topped off the day with a evening Square Dance in an air-conditioned dance hall in Taylors, SC.
We'll look at waterfalls in GA, too. We're not prejudiced.

Rode over to a friend's house who helped me mount and balance 2 new Michelin PR2s for the upcoming Spearfish trip. Day 448 consecutive riding. Got home just as it started raining.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Started packing in earnest for the CFR Spearfish loop. Gotta pull the tires off when the power comes back on. We got some big storms that knocked power out. Got some RS3s ready to get mounted up.
Tyre routes are plugged into the GPS for the first 7 days.
Goes something like this
Dodge City
Glenwood Springs
Weeping Rock
Tetons
Redfish Lake
Cascade
Spokane
It’s getting close. 4 days of football camp and then time to launch. Might take off Thursday night and knock off some of the 800 miles to Dodge City.

Added two homemade helmet hooks to the SR357 and made a shelf for the V46 lid. Easily holds pillion and my liners plus minor odds & ends. Should have done this years ago...

Yeah, sure... my commute consisted of hopping down the stairs to my desk. That is the one up side right now, super short commute...

Rode mine to work again as well. Of course it's raining this morning but that hasn't really stopped me. Day 449 consecutive.
Escapefjrtist, I'd love to see pics of the helmet holders and shelf. Sounds like an interesting mod.
