My commute home tonight went from 21 miles to 164 miles, my bike kept insisting on twisties in North GA...

I’d be more than happy to swear under oath that having watched you ride for many, many miles, there is no way in hell you could be speeding through those curves. -0face

Rode it to work this morning. Day 432 consecutive. Getting out early so I can get a head start on my long weekend. Bags are packed and ready to load when I get home.

Today I road the I road The White Pine Scenic Byway and The St. Joe River Scenic Byway .
I was a grand day with temps between 65 and 72 degrees and blue skies. Two scenic byway and three states in one day equals too much fun. This retirement gig is very nice.

Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.

Rode it to work again. Day 437 consecutive ride.
Last night after work I changed oil, filter, and final drive oil. Ordered new tires and set up a time to have a friend help mount them before Spearfish. These tires have about 6k on them and no way they'll survive that trip out and back so new sneakers before we leave. I'll finish this pair off later.

Got the new GPS dialed in. What a beautiful evening, about 81F, 20% humidity, no wind. I could've rode for decades.

Fork rebuild last weekend with new Traxxion Dynamics springs and installed a Penske 8983 shock. Feels like I have a new bike and tracks through the corners a 100 times better than before.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
I got frustrated at the difficulty of getting a tire pressure gauge onto the valve stem of the front wheel...so I took out the plasma cutter and cut a pie shaped slice out of both front disks..Now I can access the valve stem from either side.

Kurvey Girl right angle valve stems are a much better option. Of course with the torch you are removing weight so that is a good thing.

If he cuts half the wheel off, just think how much weight he could save!
