They have uncontrollable torque jacking too. Not to mention the total unreliability of the gears.

I rode mine like most days.

To Dad's: I installed a set of T-Rex Racing luggage guards. Good Stuff.

I ordered new Racetech fork springs yesterday. Hopefully they'll be here next week for install while we've got the front wheel off being changed, and adding the bar risers

Rode it to work again...a little wet out, this morning, but it's suppose to warm up to the mid 60's for the ride home.

Washed off the ole girl and gave her a good detailing after my recent trip. Spared no fine point - all accessory wiring got a coat of di-electric grease, coat of wax on the rims and fork lowers, coat of treatment gissem on the seat.... the works.

I really like my bike, man. I mean I REALLY like it.

I rode my'15 in a hard rain to the dealership to get new Michelin PR4s installed. My plan worked, nobody else rode there so my bike was the only one there for a ride in appointment. Fortunately they finished just in time for me to ride back home in the leading edge of the next storm line so that rain helped clean up my new tires.

Then...

I went to Pop's house and worked on the '14 for a while. T-Rex Racing bag protectors and T-Rex Racing crash guards with the red outline slider pucks got installed.

Image

Decided to go ahead and install the SR357 from his crashed '07 and snap the V46 on to see if the gloss black would look okay against the red. It did.

I had my v46 lid colour matched to my 04 SIlver. I was smart and saved the original pebble finish black lid. It goes just fine with the 13 paint. Reminds me, anybody want a V46 lid colour matched for an 04?

Or I can just keep it and sell it a higher price when the 18's come in 04 Silver again

Routine crap. F & R brake fluid replacement, cycled ABS with the diagnostic test connector, then replaced fluid again. Replaced the clutch fluid. Took a leisurely ride in the country. I think in all I used about 1/2 qt of new fluid. Good day......

Normally not important enough to mention but...

I washed my '15 and then rode it to break in the new PR4s and visit some friends. Stopped by to check on Pop.

Pop had (with his one good arm) completely polished his '14. The Courage Red paint was positively glowing.

Courage Red, hmpff, so that's what we're calling it these days eh?? It sure is a purty bike. Kudos to pops, I haven't been able to get mine shined up even with two good hands.

And you know what they say about a man with small hands?

He has to buy small gloves. 8-)
