Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Paid out of pocket to have the thermostat replaced due to overheating when stopped or in very slow traffic. It fixed the problem. Pulled the SR357 and put on the factory rack Wednesday. Took that off and put the SR357 and topcase back on yesterday. Fiddling trying to shoehorn stuff into the side case is a pain in my butt. I carry too much stuff to just run side cases. Interestingly, the bars had super high vibration with the factory rack on. Went back to normal with the SR357 back on. All about harmonics, I guess.

Will likely give the FJR a bath from all the gravel dust and rainwash that I rode through this past ride. Tires look good enough to do the Hungry Mother ride next Saturday as well. Likely change out the brake and clutch fluid. If I am still looking for stuff to do, I will contemplate the Blowjob that Warchild used to always perform.

Are you gonna try to give him a blow job too? Weirdo!! I would never do that stupid radiator shit, just because of the dumb name and implications. I'm secure in my manhood, but that's too far over my line in the sand!wheatonFJR wrote: ↑Fri May 11, 2018 10:59 amDammit sonny! Only 6179 mikes on that tire. A bit disappointed because the roadsmart seemed to be a harder compound. Pretty greasy when cold, so I thouvht it would wear longer.wheatonFJR wrote:There's still more...
But, it needs another 46 miles or I am kinda screwed tomorrow.

Where'd the 46 miles come from then in yer other post then? I assume yer playing in Arky. That tar won't play an hour, let alone a day in Arky. You could limp home at a steady 3000 rpm though if yer 46 miles from yer destination.silverback wrote: ↑Fri May 11, 2018 10:05 pmYeah, would need about 300 miles and I still want to ride tomorrowwheatonFJR wrote:You got it.

Also got propositioned to go to a swimmin' hole in Hector AR by a rather unsightly gal whom had summer teeth. She was excited because she finalky got full time employment cleaning out dead chixken carcasses so they could put new lay'ers in the nests.

That was the old Wheaton. I showed up at the Ramble with a new set of tars. Art/Roadrunner wouldn't believe it. So, since it is going to be a nice warm 92 today, I should work on the bike soon. Brake fluid, wash it, that kinda thing.
