Rode it to work. Still needs washed after my ride home Sunday from SEOR which involved a fair amount of rain. Day 416 consecutive ride of 10 or more miles. Let's see how far this streak can go......

With your new found stay install experience how about you bring yourself down here to our currently beautiful Texas weather and show me how it’s done

I'm gonna have to change fork oil (and likely rebuild my forks 60KM) and undo the damage the rodents made of aux brakelight and givi lights. Or, I could just go for a ride this weekend instead.

Ride mine to work today as well!
I have doubled the mileage on the 2004 Gen I that I bought 1.5 yrs ago. It now has a whopping 9K on it.
I commute 50 miles each way thru the Catskill mountains in "upstate" NY. Nice mix of twisties and passing zones.
Today was my first ride to work of the season.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
If you are totally OK with sustained profanity and promise no monsoons......... here's a good one, after I swapped my spare wheels/new rubba in, went for a ride, check engine light, ABS light, TCS light on constantly, no speedo readout although cluster lit, menu functions, signals work, cruise will not engage. What did I F up? All connectors are connected.NTXFJR wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 12:51 pmOk RayraYzerman wrote:Buttoning up last bits from mirror stay replacement, new fairing,TBS and today swapping in new rubba for the epic month of June trip. You swapped a couple of connectors wrong. Open it back up and check what's hooked up where.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Note to self, when you reminded yourself to install that trigger wheel on the spare rear wheel a month ago, why didn't you just do it then? I just went out and checked, there were wheel sensor codes, you can test output in DIAG, none on back wheel. Easy fix, don't even have to remove wheel.

What?!?! I must have missed something a few back. I thought your lights were due to having the dash apart. You rebuilt a wheel??

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Spare wheel I bought did not come with the ABS ring..... no sensor input = no cruise, no speedo, no ABS, no TCS (thus check engine light). I knew the dash was put together right, all displays working.

I too commute 50 miles each way. But mine is not through the Catskill mountains but rather through Dallas. Sigh, yours is better. Mine is probably more exciting though.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Today I cleaned the 350 miles of road grime off my new, to me, 2015. I would love to say they were miles I rode back from PA to VA, but had to trailer it. I sold my '07 just a few weeks ago so I have been without, not a good time. So tomorrow I hit the highway to work, and take the long country roads home.
Life is good, again.
