Hobbled by it on crutches on the way to work in a car.
Surgery to fix stretched ligaments/bone spurs/arthritis in left ankle happened January 23rd and it will be at least April 23rd before I can even think about riding again. Now I know how you northerners feel all winter long with PMS.
phffft. Northerners would LOVE a three month winter!

Hope you heal solidly and quickly!

Lowes and lots of hardware places have them. I'd suggest adding a relay, if there isn't one already running the horn(s).
Cheers,

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
Yeah, I ride motorcycles. I know why dogs put their heads out of the car windows.
Yeah, I fly hang gliders (3000 hrs.+). I know why the birds sing.
Didn't use a relay. One PIAA mounts on the original horn bracket. I mounted the other to a radiator mounting screw. So far, so good: 58,500 miles ago and several hundred horn blasts.
PIAA's only draw 5 amps, so while a relay is a good thing, the way I look at it, I'm not always on the horn, so no worries. Yep you gotta make a wee harness to get across to the other side of the rad on Gen3's.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.
Sunshine and 52 degrees this morning. High 70 and more of the same tomorrow. Got a buddy that traded in his Wee Strom yesterday on a '17 Versys 1000. Me and two of our buddies are gonna help him break it in proper. He should be ready for the 600 mile break in oil change when we get home tomorrow night. I've packed a 1/3 of a shampoo bottle. That should do the trick tonight.
Stay thirsty, my friends...

I believe the original Magnum Blasters drew a lot more, thus the need for additional relay.

Use more finger(middle), less horn.
Will my thumb on the horn, and my other hand with the middle finger work?

I road it for the second time in 2018. It was blue skies and 50 degrees in Seattle the afternoon so I went to the non-ethanol gas station and filled it up. I also had my cell phone mounted on the bike for the first time. It wasn't much of a ride. There a hang glider place near Issaquah Washington. I remember went it started up many years ago. You'd see a few hang gliders but today the sky was filled hang gliders. Parking was awful so I didn't try to stop and take a photo - the picture would have not come out anyway - little dot way up high. As I ride by the thought was I hope they don't crash into each other.
Lot of traffic out there today. Yuck. I am glad I am moving to Spokane in two months.
Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.
Echoing Fontana, got out for a nice [local] romp on both bikes and then wiped off all the grime from my winter rides. No traffic on my route...it pays to live in a shack in the hills!
Weather is finally starting to turn in the PNW and with DST coming up, I'll get some more frequent after work rides in. Things are looking up!!
Weather was nice and sunny in the lower 70's here today and I didn't have to work this weekend. Too much temptation for my son and I not to knock some dust off the bikes and hit some of the best roads Ellis county has to offer, which isn't much, but still better than nothing. We met up with wifey at the local Olive Garden for dinner afterward. Great day.

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.
Marie and I did the same. Mid 50's heading out, and low 70's coming back from a day romp. Dropped by my son's house to spend some time with our granddaughter. We felt like we won the Lottery today, with clear blue skies, music in the headsets, riding the lonely roads with the smell of orange blossoms, and time with our beautiful granddaughter.
Cherish the moment.

Rode it to the grocer for redbull and beer. Put my iPhone/otter box slipgrip back on, adding to the iPhone lifeproof slipgrip that always stays on. Was getting flak for missing calls on the work phone while riding.
Swapped V47 to E55 to accommodate business suit loadout for upcoming work.

Saturday was new tire day. Mounted new PR2s and flushed brake fluids. That made day 349.
Sunday, new rear pads installed then a short ride to scuff in the new sneakers and stop for fuel wrapping up day 350.
Rode to work this morning and day 351 is safely in the books.

With the Gen3 cruise control, it works so well you don't even slow down! I've practiced it a few times, along with the "I'm watching you" two-finger gesture.

Rode to work again this morning for day 352. Weather forecast for Wednesday is NOT good. Calling for my area to be on the trailing edge of a possible Noreaster. Bulk of the bad stuff is to be east of my location but that's a guess at best. Going to watch the local news tonight and if necessary go Paul Revere again and take a midnight ride. We're currently looking at somewhere from 2-5 inches of totally unwanted white shit from the sky. I'm hoping it holds off and doesn't start until around 5 am and so far as I know should be over in the late afternoon or early evening.
