Rode it to work. Day 330 safely completed.Weather forecast looking really good for the entire week. Temps above average may hit 60 on Thursday.

B/C - you get to the end of the week and you will be T-minus 1 month for the 1st year!!! That is noteworthy regardless of where you live. Hell, where I live is not an issue with climate, and yet about 4 weeks ago, we had a 1/4" of ice and it shut down the entire state. Riding two of those days was absolutely impossible with no road conditioning.

Even excusing the abnormal climate issue, I still wouldn't be able to ride every day with schedule, commitments, other travel, fill in the _______ (excuse).

Your dedication (or craziness, depending on perspective) is commendable and impressive. Ride on, my friend!!!

I'm one of many with the license plate backer saying 'World's Toughest Riders" and I gotta say this challenge has been far more difficult than any of the IBA rides I've done so far. I've gone to bed early so I could get back up at midnight to sneak in a ride ahead of bad weather. I've come home early from events to make sure I fit in a ride. There have been trips that would have made far more sense to take my truck but I rode the bike just to keep this alive. I've been out in temps from 7 to 109 degrees. I've ridden in sweltering heat, pouring rain, and some snow already. I've been very fortunate so far in that when the weather here was ugly it hasn't lasted and I've been able to work around it. I've had friends and neighbors help clear my driveway just to allow me to get my bike in and out. I'd hoped to add a small dual sport for foul weather but that just never worked out so with only 2-3 days exception all mileage has been the FJR. A few nice days my Buell or vintage Honda got the honors.

Should i be fortunate enough to make the 1 year mark I will continue to keep track and see just how far (stupid) I can go. If Mother Nature decides to once again honor me with an unscheduled prostate check I think i will be content with whatever number I may end up with.

Rode to work again. Day 332 safely in the books. Warm enough this morning I didn't even need my heated gear. Forecast in the low 50's this afternoon. Couple of coworkers managed to get their bikes out and ride in. Fellow FJR owner on one, Harley for the other. For years the Harley owner, Mike , was considered the guy who rode all of the time. Apparently now I hold the title. LOL.

I've managed to break 1000 miles so far this year which in January and February in PA is respectable.

I have to give credit when it's due though. Mike is one of our better machinists and is very old school. No heated gear and until about a year ago his newest bike was a 1989 Tour Glide. I think it's approaching 200k so he certainly rides it. He also has a really nice old customized Shovelhead that has won several trophies at local shows that he not only rebuilt from the frame up but painted it himself. He just picked up a 2008 Electra Glide and is still having a hard time adjusting to the simple joys of fuel injection. LOL. Unlike many of the Harley faithful though he has an appreciation for all things 2 wheeled and has helped me with issues on my Buell a couple of times. We often share information about upcoming events and motorcycle related auctions and sales.

Guess I must be halfway evil. Day 333 consecutive after riding into work. Calling for over 60 degrees this afternoon, might have to take the long route home.

It collected dust.

I saw mine in my shed, bits of frost on it.

Plugged it in the battery tender...likely taking it to work tomorrow.

Rode 'er to work...again.

I thought about riding it today but went for a 5 mile walk and messed around on this forum. Thank goodness I am retired!

Rode it to work. Yesterday afternoon my area saw 68 degrees so I just had to take a long route home. This morning 55 and raining on my way in. Forecast for Saturday showing a high of 36 and possible snow for Sunday morning. Yes we do get all 4 seasons here in PA, sometimes 3 or more in a week! Day 334 and the streak continues.

Man, I have to say the dedication level to do this is tops. Sure, there's the normal things that we think of like weather, but there's also the dedication to resign yourself to having to be near the bike for 365 days in a row. Nothing, but I did get a quick 60 min ride in. Yesterday the temps were in the middle 60s here. Humid as all get out. Wind blowing from the south pumping a bunch of moisture. The roads were wet, gritty, and in general not good. So I jumped on the KLX and went exploring a few of the gravel roads that I usually avoid. I needed to check out the farkles that I had put on with a little shake down ride. The gravel roads here are so soft right now. The top layer is loose and would be all but un-ride-able on the FJR. I took off toward a forest preserve that I have never been able to explore. Tons of deer everywhere and most of the gravel/dirt/asphault that I was on kept speeds below 25, just perfect for the KLX. I came back into town and went by the grocery store. Warm enough for grilling out. Twas a good day for sure

68 degrees on Thursday followed by 55 on Friday. This morning? 23 degrees! I was getting spoiled dammit! Day 335 complete anyways. somebody pay the damned heat bill would ya!

I looked at my FJR Friday as I got in my car drive to the Lemay Auto Collection, in Parkland Washington. I had not been there before and wanted to check it out before moving to Spokane in May. Very interesting place.

Harold Lemay owned a garbage/recycling company and started buying and restoring cars in the 1960's. Long story short is he owned the largest private collection in the world and when he died he wanted it kept intact for the people to see. America's Car Museum is possible because of auto donations from the LeMay family. Imagine that one coolest places in Seattle/Tacoma area is due to a garbage company owner's dream and passion, not the largess of a coffee, interent or software related business.
