Are you serious with this offer? Interested in shipping to Chicago? I'll pay for shipping and your troubles. Hoping to end my days of crawling on the cold concrete floor spooning on tires and scratching the shit out of my wheels.

Not sure...I said it and now I don't know 100%. I swear, I'm like a chick. However, shipping these things is pretty unreasonable. They're easily 100lbs or more and need a huge box. I think last time someone checked, it was $300+ to ship a free one.

Totally understandable. It'll probably be cheaper if I ride down there, change my tires, and then ride home.

Haha...I'll help you do it, and then I'll give you a good NM road tour. I accidentally called NoMar to ask a question and they were SUPER nice. The lady gave me some pointers and was very uplifting. Made me feel like I can do anything. Haha...And I spent $30 on new dismount tips, because I was almost out.
Changed the engine oil, pumpkin oil, and lubed the pivot points. Well, the clutch and brake handles, side stand, and rear brake pedal. The rest of that crap can wait....
Gave her a much needed bath too.
Ready for the next adventure. Come on JUNE!!!

I road it over 300 miles today. I sure is great to be retired.
Sounds awesome. What's it like?
Are you bored yet?
Bored? Heavens no. With moving from Seattle to Spokane, working on projects such as removing the cam from the FJR (the three week valve adjustment), walking 3-5 miles 3-5 days a week is plenty to keep me busy and happy.
The ride today was splendid. I went over Snoqualmie Pass to Cle Elum Dam, Rocky Reach Dam north of Wenatchee and to Tumwater Canyon Dam west of Leavenworth. I am riding DamTour this year. DamTour takes participants to 8 dams on Washington and 8 dams in Oregon plus 4 bonus dams in the Western US. So we get 20 dam good places to ride. And when you think about road to dams are often great roads to ride. Today was my first day on the motorcycle east of the Cascades Mountains. Very scenic up there right now.

Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.
Rode it to work again. Day 387 consecutive riding. Yesterday I rode home in a snowstorm. Friday we're supposed to hit 75 degrees. Welcome to Spring in PA.
Rode it to work this morning, and didn't even bother to check the temp ... because it was Fabulous. Maybe springtime is here, and maybe the late March chill will only make this year's peaches sweeter.

This one was on the way to the office, Mr. Smartypants. (All weekday bonus points are reasonably close to the house or the office.) Tomorrow I'll nab a Word of the Day, and a Word of the Hour between 7 and 8 am.
I am solely concerned with SMILES per gallon. When that drops below 20 or 30, I'm out.

I think we need a "hate" button along with the "love" button.
Okay, maybe a "jealous" button would be more appropriate for all those retired folks rubbing it in to us working stiffs or perhaps all those southern riders antagonizing the poor suckers in the frozen north that can't ride half the year.
