Except to go get a steak, I did nothing to it. Rainy tomorrow. Then I remembered, I have a great bike and a stich suit. I’m going to the mountains tomorrow. f@$k the rain. America.

^^^^ I can read you two, be nice!

Replaced plugs and checked the TBS...wasted my time hooking up the sticks, all good. OTOH the Tenere got the first valve inspection and a host of other maintenance goodies.

We are being nice Mr. --G. Your bike is very very clean. Mine is clean enough for me.

My wife Linda is here with me tonight and she says she likes how clean --G's bike is and how clean his motorcycling clothing is. My bike is washed but not spit polished and my Rev-it jacket is 10 years old and not shiny anymore. And the wife says I should buy new clothing! How about that?!

G, Your FJR was voted "Cleanest FJR" back at the first Ramble in 2005.
Some things don't change. :)

EDIT: Unfortunately, Mike Carpenter voted my bike as most squiddly bike, by a "land slide".

Fired curse words at the DRZ working on the carb as I think I've about found the jetting I need. Dropped kiddo off at his grandpa's to go fishing so me and my wife can have a date day/night. We watched a movie this afternoon and after she says "Why don't you go take a short ride before the weather turns bad." I know she wants a nap but I'm not going to question a ride pass.

Wheeled the shiny new blue Suzuki out of the garage, hit the starter and clickNothing. Damnit. Seems I might have left the ignition on at some point and I have a dead battery. Roll it back in and plug it up to the tender and the light confirms my assumptions. Well, as usual, the big old silver girl is ready to go so out she goes.

Rolling out of the housing development I usually take a left on our country road and let the Suzuki open up as much as I can during break in. But I realize I'm usually soft on the FJR, it's my commuting and touring vehicle after all. Well, we have some fun banging off near redline and woohoo. Got a nice 45-50 mile ride in and got back as the clouds were rolling in. Good times.

Changing the oil and seals every two years will keep the Penske shock in top shape. On top of that it is always good to visit - - G.

Usual spring stuff: changed engine oil & filter; replaced final drive oil, spark plugs and coolant. Good day! All this was after putting speedbleeders on my F150 and replacing the brake fluid.

Two buddies and I braved a crappy weather forecast and rode about 125 miles this morning. The road was gritty, muddy, damp in spots, and an occasional drizzl didn’t help anything. But we had a good tune anyway.

Where is the Biker Chuck update for day 363 and day 364? Tomorrow’s the big day!!!!

Took a leisurely 60*F 100 mile ride around the block checking yesterday's work. As they say, "no runs, no drips, no errors!" So far, so good.

Pants, don't you worry yourself. Saturday morning was brisk at a touch under 30 so a quick local jaunt took care of day 363. Temps climbed a bit past 50 this afternoon so I went penny hunting for my IBA Pressed Penny Challenge. Rode over to Columbia, PA and the Turkey Hill Experience a sort of hands on museum about ice cream. Pressed my 4th penny and put day 364 in the books. One more day and I will have ridden 10 miles or more every single day for a whole year!

Thanks for the reminder about my '04 wheatie...still have pics of that [clean] scoot! Damn, that was a long time ago.

I remember looking in the mirror and seeing the "land-slide". Glad there's no more of that!
