Cancelled our long weekend ride down to Padre' Island and the Texas coast at the last minute. It's about 40 and blowing like crazy. Would have been pretty brutal riding all weekend in this.

This winter has been pretty sucky. I've got a small batch of PMS..... :(

Switched my GPS mount and SAE pigtail from the '13 to the '16. The Lightning Strike brake light is next.

Looking at installing a Admore lite kit in the V56nnt. Both are in the house warming up for the tinkering.

Santa was good for the farkles. Got this for to complement the v47 I picked up a year ago, it is just a little small for a weekend or longer....works great for day rides and commuting.

Have not had the the required morning Crazy Fox Coffee to even think yet much less function.

NBB,

Not my business, really, but having a motorcycle in the house (even with the gas tank removed) usually will void the homeowner's insurance.
Your call, of course . . .
Cheers,

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
Yeah, I ride motorcycles. I know why dogs put their heads out of the car windows.
Yeah, I fly hang gliders (3000 hrs.+). I know why the birds sing.

Put the bike to bed for winter. Just put Stabil in it, and ran it for 10 minutes. I may clean it in the spring.

The case and lite kit are in the house, bike can stay in the freezer, or garage.

Central Pennsylvania. I live about midway between the state capitol in Harrisburg and York, home of Harley Davidson's final assembly plant for touring models. I'm only about 1.5 miles from I-83 and 4 miles from PA turnpike so the roads right around me are pretty well traveled and maintained. Bear in mind I've gotten pretty used to riding in rain and heated gear allows me to tolerate the cold weather. There is a guy from the area who can document having ridden every day for more than 17 YEARS!

Throw in some rain and sand in all the curves and corners. I think I'll wait till March sometime.

If you read the article from the link I posted I've known that guy for about 20 years. He used to come into the HD shop I worked for when we still handled Triumph. Great guy and I knew he rode a lot but I didn't realize just how much until several years later. I doubt I'll live long enough to break his numbers but the thought of doing every single day without fail for a whole year here in PA just pushed a button in me and I decided to try. Snowstorm in March 2017 screwed me at 294 days and damn near the end of March! I'm past that point now and if I can endure until March 19th that will make it 365 without fail.

Glad you guys have taken an interest and are cheering me on!
