And back ti=o the bike, put it on the center stand and plugged in the battery maintainer. :( .

Maybe later next week for mornings that start without heavy frost covering everything. Weather caster is saying that it's been 14 - 20 degrees below average for about 2 weeks now.....

I set a record for going from wash to wax to filthy (hit some of that zero percent forecast rain going to meet the wife for lunch). Hand guards come in today. We will see if they and the dash can coexist, or whether one or the other has to come off.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Post by kieefjr »

Something I’ve been doing is getting my current 2013 ready to trade or sell, currently on Local CL.

Doing so it took about two days to remove all my farkles. Once done I attempted to make a deal on a leftover 2016 where they promptly insulted me with a trade value of $5k, got pissed so I left.....their loss.

Got home and put the V-Stream back on, took off the stock shield, also put some recently purchased 2nd hand Leo Vince’s exhaust cans on and continued to wear out my almost wore out tires.

Last wkend I put a new front tire on, going to stretch the rear a little longer.

Meanwhile I’m waiting for the 2018s to show up on the floor.
I’m hoping I can get a bit more than $5k on trade on a new bike, so that’s my plan anyway. Figure if I’m going to give it away it might as well be on a new bike.

How’s that for logic?

50F and raining yesterday. Nearly froze my butt off walking to the warm truck with the heated seats so I could get to work.

Yabbut, I've laughed when you can't ride when it's over 100F and 800 % humidity.... your prime season is just different for y'all... By teasing us, don't make me trailer down there in December and be buying you a beer along with Redfish, Pants, etc...... I've been known to do crazy shit like that.

Been seeing on the weather radar last few days there's been show all across parts of the US, none here but we have had some temps at freezing.... well, the southernmost point in Ontario is the same latitude as northern California after all...

First of all, it's Redfish's area that gets 800% humidity, not here. The Dallas folks will bitch and moan about the humidity here but they have nothing to complain about. I'm mostly from Florida, I know humidity, and Dallas is NICE when it comes to that.

As for over 100F, why would that stop me?

Well, I rode mine to work today, too. Light drizzle, wet pavement, and 61F. Grip heaters on 2 with the heavy gloves. Winter's almost here.

Ray - come on down! As you suspect, it's just starting to get good here. I've got a bed for ya, and this much I guarantee:

1. You will absolutely enjoy yourself or your money back.

2. You will eat like a King. (Ask Josh or Tyler about that one)

Watch out Ray...I bet it's a trick. It's probably a heart-shaped bed...and the liquor is just to make you come along quiet now. :manlove:
