Wow...that sounds tiring. I thought you usually cleaned off your bike by going hard into a corner, ditch surfing, pulling ticks off yer scrotum, driving a car with no AC into a hotter n hell traffic jam, and then buying a new clean bike with insurance. I think I missed a few steps, but you get the idea)

I see you are changing your techniques.

Rode it in today, despite the humid, pain in the ass oven temperatures. Still dirty from West Virginia... :D

Looks like my bike pretty much all the time. It usually gets washed about twice a year. Once mid-summer, and again before I put it away. In between, I just wipe it down.

Well, the weather forecasts says it may rain this afternoon, so perhaps it'll get a wash...though Fridays are short days for me and it might be in the barn by the time the drops start falling. :D

Fine. Just be sure to keep track of the order they come out. For my purposes, I think the worn bushing was the bigger issue in my grabby first gear.

Replaced my broken radar detector power wire.

Uploaded 10GB of music on my new MP3 player.

Raining every day now. This place is pretty miserable July - September. The thunder usually doesn't start until about noon. IF I get up early enough, tomorrow, I ride.

Took a 360-ish ride around the block, rolled over 100k miles along the way. If I had any clue whatsoever how to attach a pic I would....

Rode her to work again, but this time with the lightweight Bell Star Carbon hat. The Bell ventilates far better than the Neotec, but I miss the fighter-pilot sunshield.

1) Select Full Editor.

2) Select the "insert picture" icon. Image

3) When the super-secret BBC code appears, it will look like this: [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] (NOTE: Spaces have been inserted so the underlying codes will be displayed instead of the picture. When you follow these instructions, make sure there are no spaces in the BBC codes or the picture's URL.)

4) Copy past your picture's URL code between the "on switch" (without the slash) and the "off switch" (with the slash). Your photo's URL will begin with "http://" or maybe "https://", and it will end with ".jpg". It may take a little snip here and there to cut away unnecessary URL shit.

Example:

. . . . [ i m g] https: / / farm5.staticflickr.com / 4330 / 35812108762_9eec3635e2_z.jpg [ / i m g ]

Hope that helps!

Here's another example, 'specially for you, bubblehead:

You frikkin maroon! I said attach a pic, not insert an image. Like everyone else I'm a hostage of PB only I haven't bothered to open any other acct anywhere else. So there is no inserting an image url b/c I don't have any url's. Please, next time, before you waste your time trying to instruct someone, be sure you know what the question is.

Now who's the bubblehead, you bubblehead?

Dude. I can barely finger out my phone to make a phone call. In fact, sometimes I can't finger out how to hang up at the end of a phone call so I just turn it off for a while and turn it back on later.

In that case, if you have a flip phone, you hang up just by flipping the phone over yer head while riding...and go to the phone store to get a phone and make a new call.
