Perhaps a new shield for the upcoming Ozark adventure?

Will do, once I get it. If it gets here before we leave for Arkansas, it'll be a photo of it on the bike.

Where in Arkansas are you going? Some awesome twisties down there. Hoping to head down there soon myself.

The northwest corner (twisties nirvana), specifically, will be homebasing out of Eureka Springs.

Yeah, that's where we usually base out of. Fun little town and very biker friendly. At least one day we ride over towards Jasper on 21 then 74. Catch hwy 123 through Mt. Judea and follow that all the way down to Clarksville, then 103/215 puts you on 23 and the pig trail. 23 back to Eureka Springs. Its about 300 miles of the greatest combination of twisties and sweeping corners anywhere. I am sure you have your own favorite roads down there, plenty to choose from.

It's 65 degrees, beautiful sunny day. It's a great day to get alive, an even better day to be alive and riding an FJR.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
I've been prepping my 2015 A for a trip out west to visit family. I added some sw-motech sliders and some saddlebag protectors. For the big change I installed helibars. That was quite an install. Took me a few hours taking my time. About to take a test ride.

Got mine out of hibernation. Fired up like I shut it off 6 seconds, ago, not 6 months ago. Took it for a 100km ride.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Pulled mine out of the storage spot in the garage. Pumped up the tires, checked some fluids and went on a nice 40 mile "around the block" ride.
So here is a funny thing I learned: iPhones will shut off if they get cold. I have not yet equipped my new-to-me FJR with a charger port.
Ended up going on a series of new roads and then my phone and phone based GPS decide to shut down.
Plenty of range and some common sense for me home without issue.
Moral of the story: a phone charger is a really good farkle.

Garmin has some nice ones. And they don't depend on your cell service to get their GPS.

Got a new rear tire and brake pads for the rear installed (51,000m). Then came home and washed it, in preparation for the trip. Time to start packing!

When is your departure date? And your route to/from doesn't take you through Louisiana does it?
I bet all of that is actually in your thread. I should have Done A Search.
Dammit.

Good to read the snowbirds are coming out of hibernation. Perhaps it was my imagination, but I think PMS was not too bad this year.

Weather is beautiful this morning, gonna have to take a long ride around town here. Not really any good roads to speak of, but at least it's time out on the bike.
