Their, I've said it and I meant it. In April I bought a 2014 FJR ES with 5100 miles on it. I had a temporary license tag on it for two days. On the second day I was stopped at a red light and a young lady who was distracted, ran into the back of it at about 25-30 MPH. This shoved me into the car in front of me and totaled the bike.
With the proceeds from the insurance carrier, (hers) I purchased a new 2016 FJR 1300 A. I am now in the process of farkeling it into a great longg distance machine and getting to understand this new beast. My other ride is a 2007 GL 1800 which I have kept to use as a two up wit a trailer bike for travel with my wife. The FJR is very different and I'm loving it.
Welcome. Totaled bikes suck. glad you came out OK. The GEN III's are awesome. I still ahve my '07. The wings are nice too. Rented one this February on the Death Valley ride. I was pleasantly surprised.
