Anyone have the correct speed bleeders part numbers for the FJR?

Re: Speed bleeders
Looking at my history, IIRC, it's two different sizes. Let me see what I can find.

This looks to match my order history. IIRC, the smaller one I didn't order because it was the same size as the ones for my DRZ, or another bike that I had one random one hanging on the pegboard.SpeedBleeder Part Numbers for my FJR:

Re: Speed bleeders
I'm not 100% sure about the chart that I posted from the Speed Bleeder site. For '03-'12 they only list two bleeders for the front but three for the '13-'20. All FJRs from 2006-up should have three for the front. Also, they list the SB8125L for the later years but SB8125 for '03-'12.
I didn't notice the discrepancy when I looked it up but I would want to check.

Re: Speed bleeders
From that same thread I linked to above, the last character in the part number, the L specifies if it's the longer version. Looks like there's an LL and an S as well.

Re: Speed bleeders
Thanks. I have 4 of the SB7100 bleeders, so I now have one speed bleeder on the bike. I rode it home from ND with pretty much no rear brake. Just got done bleeding it and the rear is good now. I need to order the other bleeders. They are the cats ass! The clutch is the same as the other three front ones?

Re: Speed bleeders
That would be concerning if your brakes were working fine, then went away and then were fixed with a bleed. Where is the air getting into the system?

SB8125 - only question if it is the "L". Not sure if it matters.Intech wrote: βFri Jul 18, 2025 11:33 am Thanks. I have 4 of the SB7100 bleeders, so I now have one speed bleeder on the bike. Regarding bleeding the rear brake, did you bleed the right front lower piston pair (linked brake) with the rear pedal before bleeding the rear caliper? A bubble will sometimes hide out there...

Re: Speed bleeders
Yes. That's where all the air was. Brake firmed right up after just bleeding that one. I did the rear caliper also since I had the reservoir open and I installed the speed bleeders I had for it.

Re: Speed bleeders
Bob, do NOT get the L model for the clutch! Too long. Get the S model. The L is fine everywhere else including the rear one. And yes, the 3 fronts and the clutch are the same threads.

Duh. Common occurrence for Gen 2 and later FJRs. Talked about ad nauseam. What rock have you been hiding under? Or more likely, what jail have they had you in?gixxerjasen wrote: βFri Jul 18, 2025 12:32 pm That would be concerning if your brakes were working fine, then went away and then were fixed with a bleed. Must have missed that one. Mine have never been sportbike with braided lines hard, but I've never had them go completely out like that either.SkooterG wrote: βFri Jul 18, 2025 4:31 pmDuh. Re: Speed bleeders
Not them. The rear goes soft. Still works. Almost always solved by simply bleeding the right front part of the rear brake circuit.gixxerjasen wrote: βFri Jul 18, 2025 4:34 pmMust have missed that one. Re: Speed bleeders
The S (short) has a short nipple, and I find it takes a silicone hose to stay on... the regular SB8125 or the L work..... yes a regular one on the clutch slave will make things easier..... but so will a 2.5 or 3mm ID silicone hose. If you're ordering from Speedbleeder, I'd recommend their silicone hose.... it's not that easy to find elsewhere.
ONly the rear is a 7mm SB7100.
