Swapped out my big Barn Door with a Flip Cee Bailey windscreen with the Yammy Touring model. It's about 2" shorter and an inch narrower on each side. I can live with it tho we'll see how it works in the rain.

The second image is my favorite viewpoint in Switzerland. It is at the top of Furkapass. The squiggly road in the distance is Grimselpass. At the bottom of the valley out of sight is a road that goes left. After about 4 miles is the road to Nufenenpass. GREAT stuff!

Ok Skooter wins the calendar contest this year. It is no contest. His trip just started a couple of days ago and his photos are killing it. We can have two calendars this year. Skooter's and everyone else gets to do the usual contest.

I am not worthy! :D

Hey Greg did whats the story with the Yamaha tank bag. It is huge and says Yamaha. Where'd you get that thing?

Tried to repair the Battery Cover panel but the compression fractured of the plastic around the screw are irreparable. Does anyone have a Gen III battery cover panel available? Intech, is yours still in your possession?

Is the plastic PVC or ABS? I think it could be repaired but it would probably work best by laying in a piece of the substrate polymer - easiest if it is ABS because it solvent welds very well. You might also try plastic thermal "welding" with an appropriate filler stick and soldering iron - readily available. Stuff like epoxy and cyanoacrylate (Krazy Glue) don't work well on these materials but a solvent or thermal weld with the original plastic type might be as strong as the original.

There is also a UV-cured plastic welding material (Google Bondic and others). Not sure how well it would work on this area. Reviews on Amazon are variable...

I've had some success using isocyanate glue with baking soda as a catalyst.

I gave it a try, nothing to lose, and this seems to work.

The catalyzed glue fills the voids and it cleaned up and polished up ok.

I'll find a plug to fill the hole left by the USB Charger I removed.

Super Glue with baking soda makes for a very hard fill which sets instantly and may work for you. You might find that the plastic around the repair turns brittle and cracks over time - cyanoacrylate adhesives do not play well with some plastics.

I would use Permatex plastic epoxy, it is tough stuff.... you can file, drill, paint, whatever after it cures.

Edit add - JB Weld plastic epoxy not recommended by me for this job, quite runny and hasn't got the toughness Permatex has.
