Basically the detached reservoir version of the same Nissin 14mm CMC that came with the FJR stock. I tried one off a newer H2 but the clutch switch mount didn't fit ours and I didn't want to mess with trying to rig it up.
That works.... or you can use stiffer Permatex plastic epoxy and build up a pin from scratch... file, sand, etc. later to suit. Also use a little silicone or dielectric grease in the grommets.... reduces the effort to get the pins in and out.rbentnail wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 9:45 amI've broken one of those forward posts twice. Both times I just trimmed the mating edge a little then superglued it back in place THEN fill the whole thing with runny JB Weld. The raised edge section keeps the JB in place while it sets. I just set everything up in advance with a little tilt, etc.gixxerjasen wrote: ↑Sat Jun 14, 2025 4:23 pm Finally managed to break the pin off the fairing piece that goes between the tank and the seat. Will be on the hunt for one of those, I guess.
Better late than never, but rest assured.... mission acomplished.
Rode right by that a couple hours ago. It was late in the day and after 330 miles and a 45 minute stop while we repaired my riding partner's flat tire it was just get to the hotel and chill out time. Boo hoo. I'm sure I will regret it later.
