2025-05-18 Distinguished Gentlemans Ride in SLO

Post by dcarver »

Rode the 1979 Kz1300 to the Distinguished Gentlemans Ride in SLO. It was the only Kz1300 there. Imagine that. There were two Vincents and a shitload of British bikes. With only two Vincents, does that make the Kz rarer than Vincents?

Enjoyed the video as always.

Let's be real: NOBODY associates ANY rider of a KZ1300 as "Distinguished". And NOBODY associates Carver riding ANYTHING as "Gentlemenly". But alas, like many mysteries in life, things ain't always what they seem....

Right on, my friend....

Most excellent Don. Thanks for sharing.
Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.
