Fabbed a bracket to fix it up under the lower triple tree as per what most others seem to have done, man there is just enough room up there but you the better be sure it's not going to crash down into the fender when the forks compress. DAMHIK!

Well it didn't actually crash but it woulda, so a modified position was called for.
That done, wired it into a relay under the seat previously used for the heated seat I had sold on, but woe is me, didn't get a peep out of it on first trial.
So, much wringing of hands and searching for faults later, turns out I had disconnected the live feed wire at the battery when the seat was sold, tucked it safely away somewhere up there out of sight and just left the other insulated end loose next to the relay! To add insult to injury, the wire is snagged up somewhere under the tank, probably caused by the in line fuse holder, so it can't be retrieved and re connected without lifting the tank.....not gonna happen at the mo, I'll just run another live feed and retrieve it at next TBS time.
Ran a wire to test the rest of the install......


Can't wait to surprise the first lane drifter next time out.
