You do realize there's a way to fix that, right? Throw 1 leg over the seat on the FJR, twist the throttle and go get some photos!
I don't have enough vacation time this year to get far enough away to find pretty places to take calendar worthy photos. That happens about every other year as I bank time from the previous year. I'll have to enjoy everyone else's photos this year.
Also, it's 107F today. I ain't throwing a leg over anything. I'm hard pressed to walk to from the air-conditioned house to the air-conditioned car.

"Stay thirsty, my friends"....... Wouldn't that mean I'm dehydrated all the time?
We are all talking in jest here. Everybody would like to have a photo good enough to be voted onto the calendar...it's an honor and an ego thing.
However, if you have been fortunate to have had a good day or weekend on a bike, any bike, then you are blessed already and need no approval from your friends and peers here. If you have a photo from said good day or weekend, you are doubly blessed...because you have a reminder of that awesome snapshot in Father Time's hourglass.

I'm in a similar boat this year - it's been packed full of family first activity - A high school graduation, 4H horse shows & fair; she qualified for the State 4H horse show as well, open house... No summer adventure for us. I was - to Wheaton's point - fortunate enough to put in some memorable miles last month (for an unfortunate reason) that will mean more in the end that anything else this year.
