Road the FJR to Mansfield Washington to see Yeager Rock. Click the link to see the rock and learn why it is here.

Washed it. Today, taking the wife to the skyway for her first time. If we make good enough time, we’ll ride the dragon and get her a mother’s day t-shirt before returning home.

Rode for about 190 miles with Chad the HD Guy and Chris the FJR Guy. Explored some country roads new to them.

Finally got rid of my 04 project bike. I got it months ago for my kid to fix up. It's a complete bike with three engines to build one good one. I had to threaten to junk it to get him off his butt . One less pile to trip over.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
Rode it the first time in four months. Just a little ride around Camano Isl, trying out the new to me Penski shock I had put on a few days earlier. Also trying to run the the non alcohol fuel out as it was left full when we left in the motor home with the Tenere on the back. She ran fine and I love this motor even with 116,000 on it.
Next up is a valve check after I run the rest of the fuel out, easier to left the tank off. I haven't had to adjust them yet, hoping all is still good!

Washed it for the third (second?) time since I bought her 82,000 miles ago. Used Meguiar's cleaning gear -- the prize from last year's SFO Rally Rally.

Any of those parts happen to come from a man who lives in Creston, who used to post videos often, whom enlist your help with his projects?

Back on Topic
Cleaned the FJR yesterday. It was covered with spring bugs after a two day ride to Wenatchee. It is 166 miles to Wenatchee from Spokane but my route was over 600 miles for both days. After cleaning off the muck I installed Real Time Industries reflective rear decal. Went on real easy and looks good on my Raven colored '17.

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
One of the engines was Carver's original 06, one was from Eric/OCfjr's 04 and the rest of the pile was Karl golman's 04. More than enough pieces to build a reasonable bike. Don't know if the kid will get it done but it's "not my monkey and not my circus"

Rode down to my son's house and spent the e e ing with them and the grandsons. Today, I changed the oil and filter, and gave it a much needed bath. Looks and runs like a new bike.
I spent most of my money on guns, motorcycles, women, and whiskey. The rest I just wasted!

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
I put more vinyl film on my '17 today. While doing this I found the saddle bag reflectors are not located evenly. I wonder why?
The right bag reflector is located about 2.75" from the silver horizontal strip.

The left bag reflector is located about 2.00" from the silver horizontal strip.

Maybe it was designed by a junior engineer who failed layout and lofting?
Maybe there is a good reason for this?

Re: What did you do to your FJR today?
The boredom continues....ugly weather, what else is there to do but fiddle around with the FJR. I know,....design a set of wind deflectors? Clear or black lexan...fixed or detachable? Don't even know how effective these things can be...
