Replacing the front caliper on my 2009 and one bolt broke. Someone (maybe me ) overtorqued the bolt. Local shop didn't have the OEM bolt in stock but had a bolt that fit.
The question - Is there a reason Mama Yama used a hollow bolt to mount the calipers?? Is there any problem using a solid bolt? Seems that would be stronger.
Weighs less... Unsprung weight. Prob produce a death wobble at speeds over 19MPH. Same thing with putting more than 6lbs in the top box. DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!
Use either!! CAV is wrong, the death wobble doesn't start until 21 MPH and only if you have your hands off the bars.... the OEM bolt is likely an alloy or plated such that it resists corrosion better than off the shelf bolts. A drop of loctite and you can reduce the torque a tad.
If you need a spare front caliper....... PM me, I'm about to clear out some inventory......

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.

I saw a guy on here once lose one of those bolts and replace it with a couple of zip ties.. Of course he was one of those corrupt individuals from Chicago.

I’d be more than happy to swear under oath that having watched you ride for many, many miles, there is no way in hell you could be speeding through those curves. -0face
Hollow bolt = easier to drill out & extract when some wrench jockey over-torques it...
