I love the boxes those police bikes have. I have never liked a top box. I just don't like the way they sit up high and so far to the rear. I don't carry a passenger so I like that low sleek look of that box. Someone posted a link where you can buy them, but because of the price I have a Corbin smuggler instead.

Those are pretty bikes!

Our local deputies ride Harleys with basically no gear.

Yeah, Partzilla has them for $3022.36. You'd probably need to buy the special rider's seat for $154.80, too.

Those Police-spec FJRs are so bitchin' sweet. I love the paint and equipment.

My old BMW is an ex-CHP R1100RT-P; single seat, radio box on the back, crash bars, black & white paint. I bought it when I was still single, didn't need a rear seat. That radio box comes in really handy as a trunk. BMW also sold a soft box to strap on top of the radio box which is useful for maps and rain gear while out on a tour. I didn't buy the FJR until I got married and the wife wanted to ride on the back. A police-spec FJR would be an ultimate solo-touring machine.

I do see the upside down forks, which of course is a dead give away for the electronic suspension. But the video caption says "AE" - are these the auto-clutch version?

I really (REALLY) like the color scheme. It's very "euro"!

The Euro AE is not the auto clutch. That would be AS over there. Their AE got a few extras like foot guards (splash deflectors) and some other stuff more than the base FJR.
