Doable. Just make sure the pivot point doesn't....pivot.

Well, I'm confused.

The Yamaha USA web site has the 2019 FJR displayed. No mention of an ES model, no USD forks shown. The color is listed as Liquid Graphite - Available from November 2018.

Is this the one?

Edit: Found it! ES is available: Matte Phantom Blue - Available from November 2018.

You can smell my 2018ES while you learn about the 2019. I’m in love, even though I have yet to ride it on dry pavement. Or anywhere twisty. When I get bored I’m going to post a first impressions thread. Surely the 2019 isn’t too much different from the 2018Es.

Saw it in person on Wheatie's Vet's Day ride, and it looks like it has some sort of internal glow ... which is really cool!

Not really ready to trade my 2013, but out of curiosity I plugged in my zip code in the dealer inventory on the Yamaha Powersport site. Closest 2019 FJR es to me is in NC. So I assume there is not a single 2019 FJR es in stock in AL,GA,SC or FL.

They either sold them all in a hurry or sales are so slow dealer quit stocking them. Probably the later.

I really think the dealer I got mine from has not had one since I got mine in 2013. But to be fair they mostly do four wheelers.

If 2020 comes in a pretty color I might just have to trade. I have a phobia about buying used, but can't imagine not having an FJR in the stable.

After buying my first one new, I bought my 2nd one and 3rd one used...from Forum members, after Griff checked them out for me. Griff checked out the 2nd one for me because I had a separated shoulder due to Arkansas dirt biting my left shoulder. The 3rd one griff checked out for me because it was a long distance Chicago area bike and griff still lived up in the great white north. I plunked down the money cuz I trusted griff...still do. 2nd FJR had 22k on it, 3rd FJR had 7k on it. Both awesome bikes and still in the Wheaton extended family.

A conversation between the white dude on Pants' left shoulder, and the red one on the other shoulder

(White) "Don't 'click this'. if you do, it's going to take you to a link where there are many FJRs for sale.'

(red) "You don't know that. Go ahead and click it."

(White) "I beg you, don't click it. It's a trap and you are vulnerable right now."

(Red) "Quit being a pussy. Click the dam link already."

(White) "If you click that link, you are going to be sorry...."

I still want a blue 2016. But I think this will be my last FJR. Love it, but its time for something smaller.
