Intro - New to the FJR

Post by GitGoFast »

Hi all. Thanks for lettin’ me in. Back in February of last year I sold a 2005 Honda ST1300A and picked up a brand new ES. Back then the weather here in the East was quite nice so I rode a set of tires off of it. Just put a set of Q3’s on.

Anyway I’ve been riding motorcycles for ... well I don’t know, recorded history hadn’t been invented that long ago. All street though, no off road stuff. I live a little West and South of Philadelphia, PA. If you’re going to be in the neighborhood send me a PM maybe we can meet up.

Don’t take me too seriously because I don’t.

Welcome to the forum. A while back I enlisted the help of the forum finding me a dual sport. It was a great adventure.

There is a little thing happening in South East Ohio in a couple weeks. Bring that ES down there. Make sure you scroll through the suspension settings for straight, flat, boring roads. That’s all they have in SEO. But the parking lot conversations are always worth the drudgery of riding in the area.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

Welcome, sir from the deep south. We are very glad to have you.

It has been said that sarcasm is a substitute for intelligence, but I have found that in most cases, that's not true.

However as it relates to this forum, it most assuredly applies.

Cheers!!

Welcome aboard! We have a nice little gathering the weekend after next in Ohio. It would be a great place for you to meet some of the folks on this board. Checkout the SEO Ramble under Midwest. They'll be riders coming from places much further than you. Hope you can make it!

Welcome! Congrats on the upgrade! And the ES to boot!

As for the Q3, I hear they are nice and sticky. I had my last tire, a PR4GT, to the wear bars in something like 4400 miles. :) I'm curious how the Q3 will hold up on this bike.

Hi from just south of you on MD's eastern shore. I put a set of Q3's on a while back and so far I like them as much as I did the Pirelli Angel GT's.
